WORK:

Synopsis: Since 1996, law has been my primary focus, as a student from 1996 through 1999, and in private practice after that. I began working as a teen, my first job, was working around the house for my mother. As a young man, from a single family home, I was given more responsibility for  house work inside and out, as my mother was required to work to support the household. This instilled a strong work ethic and pride in me from the very beginning. Outside the house I worked my first job in retail at 15 years old. I worked as many hours as the state allowed during my high school years and every opportunity that I could, I worked.

During college, I worked as well, mainly on campus through work study, and during the summer at what ever job I could get. I have done commercial roofing, drove a wrecker, worked in an office, tended bar (although briefly, it was really not for me!) drove a delivery truck, and many others. It was a fascinating time, that gave me many wonderful memories and experiences, that make me who I am today.

In law school, I worked for Clark Hill PLLC, a Michigan law firm, as a clerk. I was there for most of my first year and all of my second and third until graduation. In addition to working at Clark Hill, I worked as an intern at Lansing Legal Aide. Then I graduated.
